WHAT YOU SHOULD BE WATCHING
Part Two of the epic Downton Sixbey series from Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BE WATCHING:
I’m sure by now everyone has heard at least one variation of this summer’s infectious pop hit Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe”. POPDUST has a mash-up of 75 different covers of the song.
Expect cameos from James Franco, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Jessie J, the Harvard baseball team and a few other recognizable faces.
WARNING: You will not be able to get this song out of your head after viewing this video.
MUSIC VIDEO: Felix Cartal’s “Black to White” featuring Miss Palmer
Look no further. I have just found the song of this summer.
This song has some dance-worthy beats along with some classic house beats. Noting too special about the video: it’s basically close-up of models and bike-riding.
If you like this track, then go buy or download his album “Different Faces” when it’s released later this month.
Also, make sure you check out Cartal’s hilarious video for “World Class Driver”: http://youtu.be/oRspjd4fiDs

What PR Consultants Actually Do
I’ve seen a lot of these “What PR Consultants Do…” memes but none of them captured the my actual feeling about it until now.
I’ve had friends get after me about PR calling it a “party major for slackers”. My parents still think I’m a reporter and they call me any time there’s any layoffs from major newspapers or magazine publishers telling me I should switch careers.
The rest is quite obvious. Finally, I have reenacted the exact same pose from the “What I actually do” icon many times throughout my short PR career. Stress comes with the job but that’s why I love it.
PRSA recently launched a campaign to create an overall modern definition of public relations. I think they should just show this image to the general public. It will probably just have the same effect.
Happy Monday!
The many joys of working in public relations. The ? holds so true on what my parents idea of what I do is.
Sorry for the late response. Thank you. Always great to chat with a fellow fan.
Debauchery is Back. Don is Back. Mad Men Season 5 Teaser Trailer Revealed.
We finally have a glimpse into Mad Men’s long-awaited fifth season premiere debuting Sunday, March 25th, on AMC.
There really isn’t any new material in the new teaser promo. It only includes clips from previous seasons, but viewers can’t help but get swept away with it’s captivating slogan: “Style is back. Confidence is back. Debauchery is back. Lust is back. Action is back. Don is back!.”
Well, that pretty much sums up the show for new viewers.
Even though Mad Men has been off the air for more than a year, it still has managed to gain much media attention over the last few months due to poor contract negotiations and a disastrous marketing mistake.
Mad Men usually premieres around late summer but disputes between series creator Matthew Weiner and AMC postponed the premiere to this spring. There has been some speculation that increasing the budget for Mad Men attributed to heavy budget cuts on other AMC favorites, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead.
Mad Men also suffered a setback in New York City when promotional posters with the iconic figure from the opening sequence falling in white space upset many of the local residents. While not overtly offensive, some people felt it was insensitive when compared to images of suicide jumpers from September 11. You can view the comparison here: http://goo.gl/lXREE
Even with all its trouble, the four-time Emmy winning series has achieved much hype in popular culture and fan anticipation has been rampant online. So, get your Old Fashioned ready and catch up on your rusty Charleston moves cause we only have one month until the premiere. I know I can’t wait.
